في ظل تصاعد التوتر بين واشنطن وطهران، تتزايد حالة الضبابية حول الموقف الأميركي من المقترح الإيراني الأخير، ما ينعكس مباشرة على حسابات تل أبيب ويضعها أمام سيناريوهات متناقضة.
في هذا السياق، كشفت صحيفة «يديعوت أحرونوت» عن حالة ارتباك داخل إسرائيل نتيجة غموض مواقف الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب، متسائلة عمّا إذا كان سيتجه إلى رفض العرض الإيراني أو التعامل معه ضمن مقاربة مرحلية.
وأشارت الصحيفة إلى أن تصريحات ترامب الأخيرة، ولا سيما منشوره عبر «تروث سوشيل» الذي تحدث فيه عن «حالة انهيار» في إيران وطلبها فتح مضيق هرمز، لم تتضمن رفضًا صريحًا للمقترح، ما زاد من حالة عدم اليقين.
وبحسب القراءة الإسرائيلية، يقوم العرض الإيراني على فتح مضيق هرمز بالتوازي مع رفع الحصار الأميركي، مقابل ضمانات بإنهاء الحرب، وتأجيل الملفات الأساسية، وعلى رأسها البرنامج النووي، إلى مراحل لاحقة.
كما لفتت إلى أن ترامب يكرر الحديث عن انقسام داخل القيادة الإيرانية، وهو ما يستخدمه لتبرير تمديد وقف إطلاق النار من دون تحديد سقف زمني، بانتظار «رد منظم» من طهران، رغم نفي إيران لهذه المعطيات.
في المقابل، نقلت تقارير أميركية، بينها «سي إن إن» و«نيويورك تايمز»، أن موقف ترامب داخل الاجتماعات الأمنية أكثر تحفظًا، إذ يرفض فتح مضيق هرمز قبل معالجة ملف تخصيب اليورانيوم، خشية خسارة أوراق الضغط.
كما أشارت إلى أن ترامب غير راضٍ عن العرض، لا سيما أنه يتمسك بشرط منع إيران من امتلاك سلاح نووي مستقبلًا، فيما يرى بعض مستشاريه أن القبول به قد يُفسَّر كتنازل يحرمه من «إعلان النصر».
وفي موازاة ذلك، كشفت الصحيفة عن انقسام داخل الإدارة الأميركية بشأن جدوى الاستمرار في الحصار البحري، إذ يرى فريق أن تمديده قد يدفع طهران إلى تقديم تنازلات، بينما يشكك آخرون في ذلك، في ظل تشدد إيران ورفضها التراجع عن برنامجها النووي.
في المقابل، تؤكد طهران تمسكها بموقفها، حيث شدد المتحدث باسم لجنة الأمن القومي في البرلمان الإيراني على أن بلاده «لن تساوم» في الملف النووي، في وقت أعلن فيه مسؤول عسكري أن الاستعدادات لاستئناف الضربات لا تزال قائمة.
وبحسب التحليل، فإن الإشكالية الأساسية بالنسبة لإسرائيل لا تكمن فقط في الموقف الإيراني، بل في غياب وضوح الموقف الأميركي، ما يضعها أمام تحدي التعامل مع سيناريوهات مفتوحة، في ظل احتمال تمرير اتفاق مرحلي لا يعالج جوهر الخلاف.
Amid escalating tensions between Washington and Tehran, uncertainty is growing over the US position on the latest Iranian proposal, directly impacting Tel Aviv’s calculations and placing it before conflicting scenarios.
In this context, Yedioth Ahronoth revealed a state of confusion داخل Israel due to the ambiguity of US President Donald Trump’s positions, questioning whether he will move toward rejecting the Iranian offer or dealing with it within a phased approach.
The newspaper pointed out that Trump’s recent statements, particularly his post on Truth Social in which he spoke of a state of collapse in Iran and its request to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, did not include an explicit rejection of the proposal, increasing uncertainty.
According to the Israeli reading, the Iranian offer is based on reopening the Strait of Hormuz in parallel with lifting the US blockade, in exchange for guarantees to end the war and postponing core issues, primarily the nuclear program, to later stages.
It also noted that Trump continues to speak of divisions within the Iranian leadership, using this to justify extending the ceasefire without setting a time frame, while waiting for an organized response from Tehran, despite Iran denying these claims.
On the other hand, US reports, including CNN and The New York Times, indicated that Trump’s position inside security meetings is more cautious, as he refuses to reopen the Strait of Hormuz before addressing uranium enrichment, fearing the loss of leverage.
They also noted that Trump is dissatisfied with the offer, especially as he insists on preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons in the future, while some of his advisers believe accepting it could be interpreted as a concession that would deprive him of declaring victory.
At the same time, the newspaper revealed divisions within the US administration over the usefulness of continuing the naval blockade, with one camp believing its extension could push Tehran to make concessions, while others doubt this, given Iran’s firm stance and refusal to retreat from its nuclear program.
Meanwhile, Tehran continues to adhere to its position, with the spokesperson for the Iranian parliament’s National Security Committee stressing that Iran will not compromise on the nuclear issue, while a military official confirmed that preparations to resume strikes remain in place.
According to the analysis, the core problem for Israel lies not only in the Iranian position, but in the lack of clarity in the US stance, placing it before the challenge of dealing with open-ended scenarios, amid the possibility of passing a temporary agreement that does not address the root of the dispute.
