فاجأ استبيان عمّمته وزارة التربية على المدارس والثانويات، بهدف دراسة واقعها، المديرين والمعنيين، بسبب تضمّنه تعبير «المدارس والثانويات الواقعة ضمن الخط الأصفر»، في الإشارة إلى بعض المناطق الجنوبية، بما يُعدّ بمثابة إقرار رسمي بهذا التوصيف. كما أن إدراج مثل هذه المصطلحات في تعاميم صادرة عن مؤسسة رسمية يشكّل خللاً في الخطاب الإداري يستوجب المعالجة الفورية.
وقد أثار هذا التجاوز حفيظة رابطة المعلمين في التعليم الرسمي. وبحسب المعلومات، تواصلت الرابطة مع وزارة التربية، وجرى التأكيد على «رفض استخدام مصطلحات العدو (الخط الأصفر)»، وضرورة تعديلها، مع المطالبة بتدخل عاجل لتصحيح هذا التوصيف واعتماد التسمية الإدارية والتربوية الرسمية المعتمدة.
وإثر ذلك، أفيد بأن مدير التعليم الابتدائي، جورج داوود، تدخل لدى رؤساء المناطق التربوية، وتم سحب الاستبيان ومعالجة الأمر.

A questionnaire circulated by the Ministry of Education to schools and secondary institutions, aimed at assessing their conditions, surprised principals and concerned parties due to its inclusion of the term 'schools and secondary schools located within the yellow line', referring to certain southern areas, which is considered an official acknowledgment of this designation. The inclusion of such terminology in circulars issued by an official institution also constitutes a flaw in administrative discourse that requires immediate correction.
This step provoked the anger of the Teachers’ League in public education. According to available information, the league contacted the Ministry of Education and emphasized the rejection of using the enemy’s terminology 'yellow line', stressing the need to amend it, and calling for urgent intervention to correct this designation and adopt the officially recognized administrative and educational naming.
Following that, it was reported that the Director of Primary Education, George Daoud, intervened with the heads of educational regions, and the questionnaire was withdrawn and the issue addressed.
