التعديلات على قانون العفو العام أصبحت على الشكل التالي:
- الإعدام 28 سنة سجنية
- المؤبد 17 سنة سجنية
- تخفض العقوبات إلى الثلث
- ربط تنفيذ أحكام العفو بالحق الشخصي أي انه لن يستفيد أي محكوم من العفو إلا اذا أسقط الحق الشخصي
- الإدغام أقر باعتماد الحكم الأعلى مع حق القاضي بالجمع بسقف ربع العقوبة الأشد
وأفادت المعلومات أنه "بخصوص قضايا المخدرات العفو العام يشمل التعاطي والترويج واستثناء الترويج المنظم والتجارة".
The amendments to the General Amnesty Law have become as follows:
Death sentences → reduced to 28 years in prison
Life sentences → reduced to 17 years in prison
Other penalties → reduced to one-third
The implementation of amnesty rulings is tied to the personal right claim, meaning no convicted person will benefit from the amnesty unless the victim or claimant drops the personal charges/claims
Regarding combined sentences (“idgham”), it was approved to adopt the highest sentence, while giving the judge the right to combine sentences up to a ceiling of one quarter of the harshest penalty
The information also stated that, regarding drug-related cases, the general amnesty includes drug use and promotion/distribution, while excluding organized trafficking and commercial drug trade.
