"بتاريخ 23-03-2026، ادّعى أحد المحامين بتعرّض المدعو م. ش.، مواليد عام 1996، سوري الجنسية لعملية خطف من مجهولين في محلة الجديدة، وذلك أثناء وجوده على متن سيارة رباعية الدفع نوع "رانج روفر" مستأجرة.
وبنتيجة الكشف الميداني الذي قامت به شعبة المعلومات في المحلة المذكورة، عُثر على مظروفَي إطلاق نار عائدين لبندقية كلاشينكوف ومسدس حربي، إضافةً إلى بقعة دماء كبيرة، ما رجّح لدى محققي الشعبة حصول جريمة قتل.
ومن خلال المتابعة، تم العثور على السيارة المستأجرة، وبتفتيشها عُثر في داخلها على هاتف خلوي.
على الفور، باشرت القطعات المختصة في الشعبة إجراءاتها الميدانية والاستعلامية لكشف ملابسات الحادثة.
وبنتيجة المتابعة الحثيثة، تم تحديد هوية أحد المشتبه بهم، ويدعى: م. م. (مواليد عام 1991، لبناني)
بتاريخ 28-03-2026، وبعد عملية رصد ومراقبة دقيقة، تمكّنت إحدى دوريات شعبة المعلومات من توقيفه في محلة الزعرور. وبتفتيش منزله، ضبطت كمية كبيرة من المخدّرات وأسلحة حربية.
بالتحقيق معه، اعترف بقيامه بترويج المخدرات، وبمعرفته بالمدعو (م. ش.)، مشيراً إلى حصول خلاف بينهما فجر تاريخ 23-03-2026 قرب منزله على خلفية قضايا مخدرات. وأفاد أنه أثناء وجوده في المكان، أقدم المغدور على ملاحقته إلى موقف البناية برفقة شخصين آخرين على متن سيارة رباعية الدفع نوع "FJ"، حيث شهر مسدساً حربياً بوجهه وأطلق النار باتجاهه دون إصابته. عندها، أطلق الموقوف النار من بندقية كلاشينكوف كانت بحوزته، ما أدى إلى إصابة (م. ش.) وسقوطه أرضاً، فيما فرّ مرافقاه. وأضاف أنه حاول إسعافه، إلا أنه تبيّن له أنه فارق الحياة، فقام بوضع الجثة داخل سيارته ونقلها إلى بلدة كفر عقاب، حيث عمد إلى إحراقها بهدف إخفاء معالم الجريمة.
وقد أُجريت دلالة على مكان إحراق الجثة في محلة كفر عقاب، حيث تم أخذ عينات لإجراء الفحوص المخبرية اللازمة. كما أسفر تفتيش منزل الموقوف في البلدة المذكورة عن ضبط كمية إضافية من المخدرات.
أُجري المقتضى القانوني بحق الموقوف، وأُودع مع المضبوطات المرجع المعني بناءً لإشارة القضاء المختص، والعمل مستمر لتوقيف باقي المتورطين"
The General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division issued the following statement:
'On 23-03-2026, a lawyer reported that M. Sh., born in 1996, a Syrian national, had been kidnapped by unknown individuals in the Jdeideh area, while he was inside a rented Range Rover vehicle.
Following a field inspection conducted by the Information Branch in the mentioned area, two spent bullet casings were found, one from a Kalashnikov rifle and another from a handgun, in addition to a large bloodstain, which led investigators to suspect that a murder had taken place.
Through further follow-up, the rented vehicle was located, and upon searching it, a mobile phone was found inside.
Immediately, the specialized units in the branch began field and investigative procedures to uncover the circumstances of the incident.
As a result of intensive follow-up, the identity of one suspect was determined, identified as M. M. (born in 1991, Lebanese).
On 28-03-2026, after a precise surveillance and monitoring operation, one of the Information Branch patrols managed to arrest him in the Zaarour area. A search of his home led to the seizure of a large quantity of drugs and military weapons.
During interrogation, he confessed to drug trafficking and to knowing M. Sh., stating that a dispute occurred between them at dawn on 23-03-2026 near his residence over drug-related issues. He added that while he was there, the victim chased him to the building’s parking lot with two other individuals in an FJ vehicle, where the victim drew a handgun and fired at him without hitting him. The detainee then fired back with a Kalashnikov rifle he had in his possession, hitting M. Sh. and causing him to fall to the ground, while his companions fled. He added that he attempted to assist him, but realized he had died, so he placed the body in his car and transported it to the town of Kfar Aqab, where he burned it in an attempt to conceal the crime.
A site inspection was conducted at the location where the body was burned in Kfar Aqab, and samples were taken for necessary laboratory tests. A further search of the suspect’s residence in the same town resulted in the seizure of additional quantities of drugs.
Legal procedures have been carried out against the detainee, who has been referred along with the seized items to the competent authority upon the direction of the judiciary, and efforts are ongoing to arrest the remaining individuals involved.'
