بمناسبة الأول من أيار، تحية تقدير لكل من يواصل العمل والصمود رغم ما يعيشه من فقدان وخسائر كبيرة وضغوط قاسية، سعيًا إلى العيش بكرامة.
يأتي هذا العيد مثقّلًا بالألم، ليس فقط نتيجة ما خلّفه العدوان الإسرائيلي من فقدان للأرواح ومعاناة إنسانية طالت آلاف العائلات، بل أيضًا بسبب الدمار الواسع الذي أصاب المباني والمنشآت، وحرَم الكثيرين من الأمان ومصادر رزقهم.
إنّ وقف العدوان بشكل فوري يبقى المدخل الأساسي للحد من تفاقم هذه الخسائر، وصون كرامة الإنسان وحقه في العمل والحياة الآمنة. كما يقتضي ذلك تحمّل المجتمع الدولي مسؤولياته في حماية المدنيين، وضمان احترام القوانين الدولية.
وفي موازاة ذلك، يشكّل توثيق الأضرار والانتهاكات بشكل منهجي ركيزةً لأي تحرّك مستقبلي للبنان ضمن الأطر القانونية الدولية، ودفاعًا عن حقوقه وحقوق المتضررين على أسس واضحة ومدعّمة بالأدلة.
الرحمة للشهداء، والشفاء العاجل للجرحى، والتقدير لكل من يواصل العمل رغم كل التحديات.
On the occasion of May 1, a salute of appreciation to all those who continue to work and remain steadfast despite the loss, heavy hardships, and severe pressures they face, striving to live with dignity.
This occasion comes weighed down with pain, not only due to the loss of lives and humanitarian suffering caused by the Israeli aggression affecting thousands of families, but also because of the widespread destruction of buildings and infrastructure, depriving many of safety and their sources of livelihood.
An immediate halt to the aggression remains the essential entry point to limiting further losses and preserving human dignity and the right to work and live safely. It also requires the international community to assume its responsibilities in protecting civilians and ensuring respect for international laws.
At the same time, systematically documenting damages and violations is a cornerstone for any future Lebanese action within international legal frameworks, in defense of its rights and the rights of those affected on clear and evidence-based grounds.
Mercy to the martyrs, a speedy recovery to the wounded, and appreciation to all those who continue to work despite all challenges.
