باسيل يطرح مبادرة لحماية لبنان بالحوار

Bassil proposes initiative to protect Lebanon through dialogue

أطلق رئيس «التيار الوطني الحر» النائب جبران باسيل مبادرة سياسية تهدف إلى تحصين لبنان في مواجهة التحديات الداخلية والخارجية، داعياً إلى اعتماد الحوار بين اللبنانيين كخيار أساسي بديل عن الصدام، ومؤكداً التمسك بالشرعية ودعم رئاسة الجمهورية.

وجاء طرح باسيل عقب لقائه رئيس الجمهورية جوزاف عون في قصر بعبدا، في مستهل جولة بدأها على عدد من المسؤولين، انطلاقاً مما وصفه بـ«شعور بالخطر الكبير الذي يهدد لبنان». وأوضح أن المبادرة تسعى إلى جمع اللبنانيين حول أرضية مشتركة تساهم في حماية الاستقرار الداخلي.

وترتكز المبادرة على ثلاثة محاور رئيسية، أولها وضع مدوّنة سلوك داخلية تقوم على رفض العنف والتحريض السياسي والإعلامي، مع الالتزام بالدولة كمرجعية جامعة، خصوصاً في أوقات النزاعات، والتشديد على وحدة الأراضي اللبنانية ورفض أي خطاب يؤدي إلى الانقسام أو التوتر.

أما المحور الثاني، فيتمثل في موقف جامع يرفض أي فتنة داخلية، إلى جانب رفض الاحتلال الإسرائيلي والتدخل السوري، وأي شكل من أشكال التدخل الخارجي في الشؤون اللبنانية.

وفي ما يتعلق بالحلول المطروحة، أشار باسيل إلى أن المحور الثالث يقوم على تحييد لبنان واعتماد استراتيجية دفاع وطني تلتزم بها الحكومة، بما يفضي إلى سلام عادل يضمن حقوق اللبنانيين كاملة. ولفت إلى أن هذا التوجه يستند إلى مبدأ حصرية السلاح بيد الدولة والجيش اللبناني، بالتوازي مع انسحاب كامل لإسرائيل من الأراضي اللبنانية.

وشدد باسيل على أن المبادرة تمثل مسؤولية وطنية تتطلب رعاية رئيس الجمهورية، مؤكداً الوقوف إلى جانب الرئاسة «حتى في موقع المعارضة»، معتبراً أن حماية موقع الرئاسة والدولة تبقى أولوية لا يمكن التنازل عنها.

Free Patriotic Movement leader MP Gebran Bassil announced a political initiative aimed at reinforcing Lebanon against internal and external challenges, calling for dialogue among Lebanese as the primary alternative to confrontation and stressing commitment to legitimacy and support for the presidency.

The initiative was presented following his meeting with President Joseph Aoun at Baabda Palace, as part of a series of meetings with officials, driven by what he described as a “serious threat facing Lebanon.” He said the proposal seeks to unite Lebanese around common ground to preserve internal stability.

The initiative is based on three main pillars. The first calls for a domestic code of conduct rejecting violence and political and media incitement, while affirming the state as the unifying authority, especially during conflicts, and emphasizing Lebanon’s territorial unity.

The second pillar outlines a unified stance rejecting internal strife, as well as Israeli occupation, Syrian intervention, and any form of foreign interference in Lebanese affairs.

The third pillar focuses on solutions, including neutralizing Lebanon and adopting a national defense strategy endorsed by the government, leading to a just peace that guarantees Lebanon’s full rights. This approach is based on limiting arms to the state and the Lebanese Army, alongside a full Israeli withdrawal from Lebanese territory.

Bassil stressed that the initiative represents a national responsibility requiring the backing of the President, affirming support for the presidency “even from the opposition,” and considering the protection of the presidency and the state a non-negotiable priority
